The Brute 2000

BRUTE 2000 is the perfect model for commercial bottom fishermen who want the flexibility of being able to switch spools in seconds. Available in 12- or 24-volt DC, use it for bottom fishing with braid and switch spools to one with mono for trolling. There’s also a pinch puller option which enables you to quickly switch from a fishing application to hauling pots or traps. This makes the Brute 2000 an incredibly versatile. The Brute 2000 includes a 70-amp Marinco Marine plug with receptacle, emergency hand cranking handle if power is lost, 10’ x 2” spool, Heavy duty Action Flat Bar Boom with 3” Pulley, 30-degree stationary base or 0-degree vertical stationary base to fit standard rod holders. 10” x 3” spools are available for the Brute 2000. Maximum Retrieval Speed 393 fpm. Weight 832 oz, 21 x 17 x 18 inches.

Brute 2000 with Pinch Puller Set Up

Includes Pinch Puller Spool, Base Plate Assembly with Front Roller, and Rope Pick Assembly. Does not include rod. This Pinch Puller Option allows the user to switch back and forth from a bottom fishing setup to a pinch puller in literally minutes. Drop pots/traps and then go bottom fishing. When you are ready to pull your pots or traps, switch spools and you are setup as a Pinch Puller. Weight 256 oz, 16 x 13 x 6”.

Pinch Puller Option is available for the H2 and H3 Hydraulic Brute as well.

Brute 2000ET

BRUTE 2000ET is essentially the Brute 2000 with an electronic controller, available in 12 or 24 Volt DC. The Brute 2000ET includes Electronic Controller, 70 Amp Marinco Marine Plug with Receptacle, Emergency Handle for hand cranking if power is lost, 10” X 2” Spool, Heavy Action Flat Bar Boom with 3″ Pulley, 30-degree stationary base or 0-degree vertical stationary base to fit standard rod holders. Additional spools available in 10” X 2” or 10” X 3”. Additional Flat Bar Booms with 3″ Pulley available in Medium Action and Heavy Action

  •  LCD Line Counter – Enter line diameter in mm for accurate display of line in feet, meters, and fathoms.
  • Automatic shutoff at HOME and FISH Positions.
  • Ability to set 8 Memory Positions in between HOME and FISH for automatic shutoff at each position.
  • Variable Speed Control so you can adjust speed according to sea conditions.
  • Alarm to notify you if anything pulls on line and there is movement.
  • Light sensor turns on backlight when it gets dark.

Brute Hydraulic Models

The BRUTE Hydraulic Models bring a new level of quality and performance to the commercial fisherman who desires Hydraulic Reels over Electric.

Unlike all other Hydraulic Reels, the BRUTE Hydraulic comes standard with your choice of “0 Degree” Vertical or “30 Degree” Rod Mount. This frees up valuable deck space by not having to be bolted to the deck and side of the gunwale where it remains out in the weather day and night. The rod holder mount allows you to remove it at the end of the day for protection from the weather and from theft. It also takes up less room than other hydraulic reels.

The BRUTE Hydraulic Models also features our own custom machined Valve which is hard coat anodized for additional protection from the saltwater environment in which it lives.

Pinch Puller Option is also available for H2 and H3 Models.  (Pinch Puller is not available for H4)

Commercial fishermen who have their reels permanently mounted
in their boats now have the option of the high-quality precision-machined hydraulic reel with advanced features over anything ever offered before. Higher performance and less downtime, Each H13, and H15 Hydraulic Brute is precision machined out of 6061 T6 aluminium and then hard coat anodized for advanced corrosion resistance and durability.

This provides higher wear and abrasion resistance for the harsh saltwater environment in which it lives and works. Hard coat anodizing increases the strength of the aluminum to a Rockwell 66 which is harder than chrome and tool steel. It is used in Military and Defence applications.

These heavy-duty Hydraulic Models enable you to change Spools and Booms quickly enabling you to go from a bottom fishing setup to Greenstick Fishing in literally minutes.
